From mass product to unique art


Chairs4eyes was brought into being to find a reinterpretation for a commonly used, mass-produced product (that of chairs) and to aspire to radically change the standardized parameters by revising and personalizing this industrial item.

Patrizia Mancuso gives form to this concept by working with four distinct artistic techniques: collage, traditional painting, graphics and sculpture.

Through her creativity and the fusion of artistic disciplines she retains the original purpose of the object and at the same time transforms it into a unique piece of art. A functional object is painted or sculpted into powerfully expressing its own story, its own personality and own emotion.

Each chair becomes a Chair4eyes, an individual design, a soul taking life and enriching its principal usage with multiple interpretations that change day after day adapting to the demands of the person who owns it.
